Dr. Margherita Naim
Academic Collaborator of the Photography Reference Library
She studied art history, obtaining an Interuniversity PhD from Ca' Foscari University and IUAV University of Venice (2016). She is an independent researcher in History of photography and she taught this subject at Ca' Foscari University of Venice (2015-2018 AYs), at the University of Turin (2019-2024 AYs) and at the University of Siena (2023-2024 AYs). In addition, since 2011, she has been coordinating and teaching Photographic Archiving courses in universities (IUAV, Pavia, Udine, Verona), as well as in conservation institutes (Fondazione Querini Stampalia - Venice, ICCD - Rome, Civic Museums - Triest). She curated photographic exhibitions (Paesaggi d'acqua nel Veneto, 2018; Gianni Berengo Gardin e la Olivetti, 2020), and coordinated photographic and documentary archive management projects (Sergio Bettini, P. M. Pasinetti, Italo Zannier).
