Camilla Musci, M.A.
Academic Assistant & Curator of Special Collections

Camilla Musci studied History of Art at Sapienza University of Rome, Sorbonne University (Paris IV), and the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris. She obtained her M.A. in 2016 with a thesis on the stylistic origins and dissemination of the vita icon format. She held research assistant positions at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, Department Gerhard Wolf (2015–2016), and at the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden (2016). She is currently pursuing a PhD at the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris, focusing on the history of medieval collections.
From 2020 to 2024, she was a Postgraduate Research Assistant at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, Department Gerhard Wolf. Since 2023, she has been responsible for the acquisition, cataloging, digitization, and scholarly projects related to the Biblioteca Serlupiana, of which she is the curator.
