Camilla Musci, M.A.

Academic Assistant

Camilla Musci studied History of Art in Rome, Sapienza University, and Paris, Sorbonne (Paris IV) and École Pratique des Hautes Études. She completed her M.A. in 2016 with a thesis on the stylistic origin of the format of vita icons and their spread, supervised by Prof. Antonio Iacobini. She worked as student assistant at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, Department Gerhard Wolf (2015–2016) and at the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister in Dresden (2016). She is now a PhD student at the École Pratique des Hautes Études in Paris with a thesis on the history of medieval collections. Since February 2020 she has been working as Postgraduate Research Assistant at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, Department Gerhard Wolf.
