Celine Van de Velde works as a student assistant at the research and fellowship program 4A Lab: Art Histories, Archaeologies, Anthropologies, Aesthetics (KHI Florenz – MPI and Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz). Currently, she is doing her master studies in art history at Freie Universität Berlin and is working as a student assistant for the research group BildEvidenz. History and Aesthetics since 2016. In 2019, she finished her Bachelor studies in art history and philosophy with a thesis on social housing in Berlin during the 1920s with a focus on Mies van der Rohe's project at Afrikanische Straße. At FU, she also worked as a tutor and mentor, as well as in the photo laboratory. Additionally, she worked at the Alfred-Ehrhardt-Foundation. She completed an internship at Brandenburgisches Landesamt für Denkmalpflege und Archäologisches Landesmuseum. Furthermore, she holds a master degree in visual communication from Art College Sint Lucas Antwerp.
