Doctoral Fellow

Ariella Minden is a PhD student at the University of Toronto. Having completed her BA at the same institution in 2015, she continued her studies at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. Ariella's doctoral dissertation builds upon this research to explore the multifaceted relationships between the making of arts and the visualization of knowledge in Renaissance Bologna, focusing on the role of artists in its shaping and mobilization. Ariella has gained curatorial experience at the Centre for Reformation and Renaissance Studies in Toronto, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, and the Gallerie Estensi in Modena. She has been a doctoral fellow in Prof. Alessandro Nova's department since September 2018.
