Olivia Larsen, M.Sc.

Postgraduate Research Assistant

Phone:

Olivia Larsen studied architecture at the KIT in Karlsruhe and completed her studies in fall 2024 with a master's degree. Her master's thesis Locus Sanitatem - A consideration of the architectural reading of the fragile lung examines how the potentials of past explorations of healing architecture can be translated into forward-looking strategies and how these can be interwoven with specially created architectural design principles based on the latest medical findings to form a progressive theory. Olivia Larsen has been working as a student assistant at the Department of Architectural Theory with Anna-Maria Meister since 2022 and will now be supporting the Lise-Meitner research group Coded Objects at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence as a research assistant in the coming months.
