Student Assistant

Philipp Hubert has been a student assistant in the department of Gerhard Wolf since June 2021. He studied art history and archaeology at Freie Universität Berlin and is completing his master's degree with a thesis on the reception of ancient Mesopotamian cultures at the beginning of the 20th century. In Berlin, he worked as a tutor and as a student assistant for the Center for Advanced Studies "BildEvidenz. Geschichte und Ästhetik", where he is also a long-time assistant of Prof. em. Hans Belting. Internships brought him to the German Archaeological Institute and the Bibliotheca Hertziana in Rome.
