Alice Dini, M.A.

Project Collaborator, Archive

Alice Dini is a Ph.D. candidate in Aesthetics at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where her research reassesses information aesthetics in relation to contemporary AI aesthetics. She holds both a B.A. and an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Florence and completed the Virtual Archivist (IFTS VIR.AR) professional programme at the European Institute of Design, specialising in archival description, digitisation, and digital heritage management. Her research interests include aesthetics, archival studies, and the role of archives in reconstructing cultural and intellectual networks, with particular attention to their relevance for contemporary visual culture, digital heritage, and the aesthetic implications of generative AI. Since April 2026, she has been working as Archive Collaborator at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz, following an internship at the same institution. Her work focuses on the organisation, description, and analysis of institutional correspondence, and the development of tools that enhance archival accessibility and support historical research.
