Im Fokus

At irregular intervals, the library selects works from its collection to present them to a broad audience in digital form through focused inquiries. The perspective ("In Focus") can vary between thematic aspects, material peculiarities, collection-related questions, format characteristics of book objects, or historical phenomena. Special emphasis is placed on visual representation, which is understood as part of the presentation concept and serves both an explanatory and aesthetically stimulating purpose. In individual cases, the presentations include a scientifically sound accompanying text. The choice of topics and layout are the responsibility of the library team, occasionally in cooperation with other experts.
