Max-Planck Partner Group 2022-2027 "Empires, Environments, Objects"
Annual Meeting

The members of the Max-Planck Partner Group "Empires, Environments, Objects" will convene at the KHI for its annual meeting. Starting from January 2023, the Partner Group members have taken turns to present their ongoing research annually. In this upcoming meeting, Lucía Querejazu Escobari, a newly incorporated member of the Partner Group and an assistant professor at the PUCP, Lima, will speak about her work on the cult of the Virgin of Copacabana and Principal Investigator Fernando Loffredo will present the results of his research on Fulgencio Maldonado (1586-1661) and his life and patronage in the shadow of the volcanoes of Arequipa and Naples.
