Her work has developed along three main axes: 1) as a solo artist; 2) as co-founder and fearless leader of the Berlin-based art collective CHEAP; and 3) in collaboration with select artists working in visual arts, film, dance, music, and performance. Trained as an actor, Sachsse appeared in productions at the Berliner Ensemble by Heiner Müller, Einar Schleef, and Robert Wilson, among others. Her practice has expanded into work as a visual artist, director, writer, musician, curator and performer. First solo exhibition at Participant Inc (NYC, 2021); sound, video and object installations at Kestner Gesellschaft (Hanover, 2023), and Künstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin, 2022). Sachsse’s exhibition, with CHEAP, Choose Mutation, was presented at Accelerator (Stockholm, 2024) and Gropius Bau (Berlin, 2025) and at PS1 MoMA (NYC, 2025-26).
