Curriculum vitae:
In 2013, Priyani has received admission as a doctoral candidate at the Institut für Kunst- und Bildgeschichte, at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. From October 2013 as a doctoral fellow at the Museum für Islamische Kunst, she will join the program "Connecting Art Histories in the Museum. The Mediterranean and Asia 400-1650", directed by Hannah Baader and Gerhard Wolf in collaboration with Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. In 2003, she received her Bachelor's Degree with Honours in English Literature from the University of Delhi. 2008-2010, she pursued and received her Master's Degree in Arts and Aesthetics from the School of Arts and Aesthetics at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Between 2010 and 2013, she continued her association with the School of Arts and Aesthetics, JNU and the Visual Studies Faculty, first as a Research Assistance for Visual Studies, then as Project Consultant for the "Getty Foundation Connecting Art Histories: Visiting Professors' Programme" and subsequently as an independent researcher.
